## About

Powerful storytelling requires more than decorative illustration—it demands structural draftsmanship, historical accuracy, and deliberate narrative weight. Whether launching a speculative fiction title, an essential history curriculum, or an editorial feature, your project needs artwork that commands attention on the shelf and honors the narrative inside.
I am an illustrator specializing in book covers, interior art, and editorial illustration. My work bridges the past and the future—guiding visual narratives from ancestry to speculative ascension. Rooted in deep cultural respect and rigorous visual problem-solving, I partner with independent authors, publishers, and creative directors to translate complex manuscripts into striking, publication-grade imagery.
Every transformative story deserves visual representation that matches its ambition. Generic stock imagery and superficial art dilute the impact of critical Black narratives, leaving audiences unengaged.
That’s why my studio approaches illustration with intention and discipline. Focusing on historical narratives and world-building, I help authors, presses, and cultural institutions bring their stories to life with clarity and gravitas. From the initial compositional study to the final press-ready deliverable, every piece is built on strong draftsmanship, rich cultural context, and a commitment to visual excellence.
Your manuscript has a mission. Together, we make sure it commands the visual presence it deserves.
Currently accepting commissions for upcoming publishing release cycles.
